*There is currently a bug in our system that shows an error message when an application is submitted. The application does actually come through, so you do not have to submit another application. However, you can always contact and confirm with us before moving forward. | ![]() |
Once you submit your application, it will go to DHR for review. Once DHR reviews the application, they will send the report back and a specialist will be assigned to you. They will reach out to set up an assessment date.
What can you do to prepare?
- Complete the orientation again under the “Learning” tab in AlaCEED to refresh yourself on our process.
- Make sure your documentation is up-to-date
- Visit our links to access our most up-to-date documents for your licensing type. We have made some adjustments to our rubric and process since 2022, so downloading these will be helpful for you to prepare for and gather any other documentation that may not have been required in 2022.
If a provider does not wish to renew their higher STAR Rating at this time or they do not apply before their rating expires, their STAR Rating will be reduced to a STAR 1. They will be able to reapply for a higher STAR rating after 6 months.
